Zen Do Kai’s 40th Anniversary

I can honestly say the week I spent in Melbourne with Renshi Bruce was an absolute hoot.  It was great to be with my student of nearly 20 years and to hear him talk about a range of topics with such knowledge far beyond his years. If our job as Instructors is to bring people through better than we were then I have achieved this. From the time we stepped onto the airplane to the time we stepped off I truly felt like I was with my brother. Add to this spending a couple of days with Soke Bob and my extended family life is preety good.

Whilst all that was great the best part was that my wife who has endured over 20yrs of my training was there to see the look in my eyes and share in the weekend.
