The purpose of the development programs is to provide an opportunity for student and instructor progression. It also allows for people from a variety of clubs to train together. This creates cohesion, enables standards, and encourages the concept of BROTHERHOOD.
Development Days
- The development days are for all ranks from all systems.
- These days are offered in Term 2 and Term 4 each year.
- Check our yearly calendar for the exact dates.
- The coloured belt program is delivered by experienced instructors in each of the three systems – Zen Do Kai, Muay Thai & Krav Maga.
- Additional training including – BJJ, AEK, Weapons, Kendo
- Each Instructor will be given the responsibility of planning the day and collaborating with the other instructors on the day.
Instructor Program
- The Instructor program is for students from Brown Belt and above.
- Completion of the program is a requirement before attempting 1st degree.
- These days are offered each year in Term 1 and Term 3.

- It includes practical and theory requirements.
- This qualification should be updated yearly.
Sensei’s Program
- The Sensei’s program is for students 1st Degree and above.
- Completion of the program is a requirement for advancement past 1st degree.
- It must be completion before being awarded Sandan-Ho.
- The program runs alongside the Development days and the Instructor Program
- Sempai’s & Dai Sempai’s should attend all 4 development days each year.

- This qualification should be updated yearly.
Master’s Program
- The Master’s program is conducted each year.
- The program is a requirement for advancement past 3rd degree.
- The program runs alongside the Sensei program (4 development days)
- There is an additional full weekend as a requirement.
